Whether planning a small gathering, hosting a private exhibit, making a commercial, or planning a fashion shoot, our rental program supports SQUARE 101 general operations and programming while increasing awareness of the gallery in the community. We truly appreciate your interest and support! We are able to accommodate a wide variety of events. Private event and exhibition applications are being accepted for 2007.

MEETINGS & RECEPTIONS: SQUARE 101 can host breakfast or lunch meetings for up to 24, as well as offsites and other planning meetings that can benefit from a creative environment.
Fee: Member: $100 / 4 Hrs, Non-Member: $150 / 4 Hrs
SQUARE 101 gallery space is ideal for sculpture and or two dimensional works.
Wall Dimensions: 10' x 10' x 10' x 10' x 10' x 10'= a total of 60' liner feet.
SOLO EXHIBITIIONS: 20% percent commission is taken on all art sales. Press and patron mailing can be purchased for a nominal fee. (SQUARE 101 mailing lists remain private and property of the gallery. SQUARE 101 staff conduct mailing.) "Basic" information about the show is released by SQUARE 101 to the newspapers, but hanging, show tags, promotion, reception and any repairs to the gallery after the exhibit are the responsibility of the artist. We encourage new forms of expression in experimental media, installation, video as well as other more established media. Please call, or email us for more information on renting our gallery.
Fee: Artist Member: $480/Week [$40/mo dues = 1 week/yr] , Artist Non-Member: $700/Week
Set-up & Take down: The gallery is available for receptions after 5:00pm - 9:00pm Thursday through Sunday and any time Monday and Tuesday until 9:00pm. The gallery is not available for evening rental the first Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of each month. The Gallery will not remove, rearrange or obscure any significant element(s) of an exhibition to accommodate events unless agreed upon by gallery director. At no time will artwork or furniture be moved without prior permission. All installations or shows are to remain intact. There can be absolutely nothing hung, nailed, or taped to the walls at without the permission of the director.
The director must approve of all publicity concerning the gallery. The gallery will provide a staff member to assist with questions during setup and reception.
In the event of damage to any artwork or to the physical condition of any and all public places within SQUARE 101 Gallery or the Silver Square building itself caused by renter or guests, the renter will be held solely responsible and will be billed accordingly. This includes, but is not limited to scratches, nicks, breaks, or marks of any kind.
Damage Deposit: The damage deposit is $500 and must be paid prior to the start of the event in addition to the rental fee. This deposit is completely refundable within 48 hours of the event if no damages have occurred, nothing is missing, and no abnormal or excessive cleaning of gallery space is required. Damage to art work in the gallery during set-up, the event or cleanup is the full responsibility of your organization at 100% of the sale price. If damage exceeds the amount of the deposit, rentee agrees to pay the additional amount.
Beer kegs are not permitted.
Smoking is not allowed in the gallery or atrium.
Candles or open flame of any kind is not allowed in the gallery (except birthday candles).
Loud music is not permitted at the gallery. Instruments using electrical amplifiers must keep amplitude down. Management and staff may instruct band to lower volume or shut down if not able to comply.
All food, beverage and equipment for the reception will be sub contracted by your organization. Please refer to our list of preferred vendors. These businesses are familiar with our facility and will contribute to a worry free event.
All food waste must be removed from the building.
At the end of the evening, your organization will be responsible for cleaning and grooming the gallery back to its original condition.
Renter is responsible for removing all articles brought in during the rental event. SQUARE 101 Gallery cannot assume responsibility for items left by guests or the renter.
