Who are we? SQUARE 101 Gallery is an educational arts organization, proud to be a center for showcasing the talents of emerging artists and designers. Our status as a working cooperative gallery is unique.
Why do we need you? SQUARE 101 Gallery depends on the community to provide much of the financial support essential to its continued operation. Unlike other commercial galleries that show only the works of well-established artists and designers, SQUARE 101 Gallery provides a place for new artists to debut, grow and be discovered. When a purchase is made from SQUARE 101 Gallery, half of the sales price is paid to the artist and designers, the balance is used to support the gallery, to fund its operational, educational services, and donations to humanitarian non-profit organizations which benefit the community.
What do we do? We have new exhibits each month. Most of these are juried and are open to all artists. One area of the gallery provides space for rotating exhibitions of works by our artist members. We have a variety of art related educational services which include gallery tours, art discussions, and programs to promote the professional development of our member artists and community.
What do you get? Your membership in SQUARE 101 makes you a patron of the arts. You will receive our monthly show card announcing the theme of each show and you will be notified of special sales and educational events. You are encouraged to visit your gallery at all times and especially on the first Friday of each month to participate in the artists reception for the new show.
